CEO and Co-Founder
Landon: “I always thought someone else would fix the climate crisis by the time I grew up. But after reading the dramatic 2018 IPCC report, I saw how hard it'd be to end the climate crisis. My friends and I started Wren because we have the solutions we need to end the climate crisis, and now is the time to deploy them at a massive scale.”
Co-Founder, Product
Mimi: “The time since we've started Wren has been as much about helping others on their climate journey as it has been about continuing mine. I've had inspiring conversations with people around the world, Wren users or otherwise, who are doing their part in the fight for climate. And I’ve come to cherish California’s ecosystem more than ever — every day I watch red-tailed hawks soar by and admire the valley oaks dotting the land — reminders of what Wren is fighting to preserve.”
Co-Founder, Product & Design
Ben: “Growing up, I didn't think solving climate change was something I could be a part of—that it was just something politicians, activists, and scientists would "figure out." Ultimately, that sentiment became the genesis for Wren: there are ways that I can get involved, and if I can, then so can millions more people. We just need to build the tools to make that happen.”
Engineering
Taylor: “As an outdoorsman, naturalist, and environmental advocate, I want to dedicate the rest of my career to helping humanity avoid the catastrophe of man-made climate change. As an engineer, my job is to create technical solutions to complex problems. What bigger problem could there be?”
Head of Climate
Sophie: “I’ve spent a decade working to improve outcomes for people and the planet, and in the process, I’ve learned that reversing the climate crisis requires a systems-thinking approach. That’s why I joined Wren where I take a critical approach to sourcing projects that contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation. This work isn’t easy, but it’s necessary for securing a future we can all thrive in.”
Content & Communication
Path: “My climate journey has been a personal one. I’ve always been willing to do the bare minimum—reducing, reusing, and recycling. But throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, my desire to save our planet grew exponentially. I could no longer wait for someone else to solve the climate crisis, I wanted to do more. Now, I can also help others do their part, too, through solutions backed by Wren. We’ll learn a lot along the way!”
Engineering
Eric: “I'm fascinated by the challenges of building a sustainable world. We owe it to the next generation to make good use of our many resources, the most precious of which is time. I knew I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join Wren.”
Marketing Communications
Hilary: “Growing up immersed in the outdoors, I developed a deep love for nature and the motivation to protect it. I want future generations to be able to have the same experiences I had—wandering through the forest, feeling the sweet chill of the river or ocean, and sharing their environment with the precious flora and fauna who also call it home. Joining Wren was the perfect opportunity to play my part in helping to end the climate crisis.”
Engineering
Ha: “I’ve always been passionate about climate, and also find a lot of joy building product. I have been searching for ways to combine these two passions, and Wren is the perfect match. There is so much work to be done, & I’m excited to contribute to the solution.”

“The road back to 350ppm or less of CO2 will be hard, but a start is to take your known emissions and help offset them.”
Founder, SongKick
“I've always considered myself somewhat environmentally aware and did what I thought were all the right things. Wren made it easy for me to do more about the climate crisis.”
Founder, Kickstarter
“Creating a message for how to evolve in the face of climate change isn’t easy, because each of us needs to evolve in different ways. Wren gives me a place to start.”
